Zora Freiová, you have the day off to read any book you choose anywhere you choose. What do you read and where?
If I had a day and could read any book – anywhere at all – there would be two possibilities. I would either re-read any part of the trilogy Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset (which I have read twice but I’m sure I’ll go back to in future); I would definitely love to read it in Norway, preferably in the district of Gudbrandsdalen where parts of the book are set.
Or, I would stay in Prague, go to one of my favourite parks or gardens and read Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. Having read her Purple Hibiscus, Americanah and Notes on Grief, I would like to continue getting to know her better.
