Andreas Hutt – German poet
Andreas Hutt is a poet and writer of fiction. Having studied mathematics and German in Marburg, he started writing around the turn of the millennium. From 2005, his short stories and poetry have appeared in literary journals including Konzepte, außer.dem, Ostragehege, Der Literaturbote, and more, and in anthologies such as Versnetze and Jahrbuch der Lyrik. In 2011 he was awarded the Wiener Werkstattpreis. In 2013 and 2017 he was an Irseer Pegasus finalist. Books of poetry Transitzonen ('Transit Zones') and Schritt auf Schritt ('Step by Step') were published in 2019 (Edition FZA) and 2021 (edition offenes feld) respectively. He was nominated for the audience award of the 2022 Feldkircher Lyrikpreis.
On 2 June 2024, Andreas was shortlisted for the Lyrikpreis München 2024. Andreas' latest work, Handbuch eines schizophrenen Paralleluniversums ('A User's Guide to a Schizophrenic Parallel Universe'), will be published by Black Ink Lyrik on 2 July 2024.
